Jeff and I have been talking about going to Eno for a long time now. Wine, cheese and chocolate? Sign me up. We finally made the journey on the Sunday night before my birthday (since we had my birthday off for Martin Luther King Day—a nice coincidence).

One of Eno’s unique offerings is the blind flight—we were given three wines and a card to guess varietal (+2 points), old world or new (+1), country (+1), region (+1) and relative age (+1). A score of eight takes about half the price off of the flight. A perfect score earns a free bottle of wine.

Despite our best efforts—using our phones to try to cheat and look up some info—we still “failed” the test. Total? Four points.
