Inaugural Lakefront Bike Ride
After work today, we donned our helmets and hit the road toward the lakefront path, eager to get out to enjoy the warm weather. Now that I’ve finally thawed out from the winter, I’m starting to remember why I love living in Chicago.
We ate dinner at an open restaurant up in Lincoln Park and ended up having to ride back after dark (not that it ever gets particularly dark in Chicago). The only hazard: I was almost hit by a homeless man on a bike carrying what appeared to be a cardboard box.

A stop in the park overlooking the city (great view, but the somewhat blinding sun wasn't great for photos)

How fun! I want to bike around a big city!
