Not Moving
A year ago yesterday, we moved into our current apartment. I am so glad we’re staying another year—I had moved once a year for six years, and I needed a place to settle in a bit (besides, I’m not ready to give up my half-mile walking commute).
Our apartment today—not terribly large (you can see our dining room, living room and office in this photo) but it's quite cozy, and the views of the city are unbelievable). Also note that 'Good Eats' from the Food Network is on—the default channel in our abode.
P.S. This is my first post using my new lens!
It looks so warm and cozy–I love it! We’re hoping to plan a move to another state in January, and while I am excited about that, I am dreading the logistics of it all. I’m glad you get to stick around for a bit longer.

I remember those days of moving every single year. We’ve been in our house for 2 years now, and it’s so nice to feel settled.
Love the lense, and your place is so pretty!! I love the ability to stay where you are, my house makes me feel like a million bucks right now for that reason.
Your cat is magnificent! What’s his/her name?? My grandma had a cat that is the splitting image of him/her when I was growing up, it’s uncanny! =)

Thanks all! As Heidi said, the cat is Romulus. He’s a giant Maine Coon, and he’s endlessly entertaining.
I love how your cat is just chilling in the middle of the ottoman like that. Your living rooms super awesome and I totally know what you mean about not wanting to move! It’s so much work not to mention making a “home,” somewhere is rather nice =)
Your apartment is gorgeous! I love it, I stayed in my place for two years also but it’s getting too expensive so sadly in six months I’ll be moving again. Hopefully I’ll find something as cozy as yours!
Good for y’all! I have a feeling I will be moving sometime soon (my lease is up at the end of July), and I seriously don’t want to. I’ve moved quite a bit ever since I was in college, and it gets more challenging every time, as I have accumulated more things and more furniture.
Your cat is awesome. And Food Network is typically my go-to network! You have a great space there!
